Practice Details:

Setting - hybrid of a regular outpatient family practice primary care open to all and a school-based health center (for the college, the multiple early college high schools on the campus, etc.)
Solo Provider office
Seeing a mix of pediatrics, adolescents, college students and adult patients
Federally Qualified Health Center/Community Health Center serving everyone in the community with a particular emphasis on the underserved. Position qualifies for the Loan Prepayment Program
You'll need: At least 2 years of NP or PA experience in outpatient primary care setting; NC licensed or eligible to obtain, Bilingual Spanish a plus
Provider package includes: signing bonus and (based on length of your contract), relocation (if applicable), CME allowance, malpractice covered by FTCA, dues/fees reimbursed, PTO, closed on several major holidays, group insurance, etc.

Area info: Close to VA border, just 43 miles north of Rocky Mount and 90 miles northeast of Raleigh and about 2 hours to Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Enjoy fishing and kayaking on the Roanoke River. Other things to enjoy include - Sylvan Heights Bird Park in Scotland Neck, Medoc Mountain State Park in Hollister where you'll find the 325 foot peak Medoc Mountain and you can go camping, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking and even joy a lovely picnic.
